The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) announced the winners of its 2023 scholarship call for the Masters of Design and Innovation (MDI) programmes in Madrid and Barcelona.

Designed to address the evolving economic, social and business challenges of the 21st century, the MDI programmes combine strategic thinking, innovation and a project-based methodology developed in collaboration with companies and industry professionals.

The scholarship recipients were:

MDI in Fashion Management — Barcelona
Uuganzaya Davaasambuu

MDI in Design Management — Barcelona
Dustin Jacob Carbonera

Master of Design and Innovation — Madrid
Sarah del Carmen Tio Valenzuela

Sarah Tio was selected as the scholarship recipient for the Master of Design and Innovation at IED Madrid, marking the beginning of a new stage focused on design strategy, innovation and the development of multidisciplinary approaches to contemporary design challenges.
