I am Sarah Tió, a Dominican architect with over a decade of experience blending innovative design and functionality. I graduated with honors in Architecture from PUCMM and completed a Master's in Architectural Design with a specialization in Interiors and Tourist Accommodations, earning a dual degree from the University of A Coruña, Spain. In 2022, I was honored with the prestigious international MDI Design and Innovation scholarship from IED Madrid.
Since 2014, I began my career at Site Constructora S.R.L., and in 2016, I took on the role of Manager of the Architecture Workshop at DL+A Arquitectos, coordinating teams of architects, managing projects, and supervising the execution of works. My passion for sharing knowledge led me to join the faculty of the School of Design and Architecture at PUCMM in 2020, where I taught courses such as Design, Graphic Representation and Communication, as well as Materials and Construction Techniques for Interior Design.
Driven by my passion for innovation, I specialized in design thinking, leading workshops and talks for entrepreneurs interested in transforming ideas into tangible solutions. In 2021, I founded S T / L A B, an architecture and interior design atelier focused on creating unique spaces that integrate sustainability, comfort, and a deep connection with the environment. My approach always seeks to balance design, functionality, and meaningful experiences.
Today, from Madrid, Spain, I collaborate on both local and international projects, offering personalized services either remotely or in person, depending on the needs of each client
