I am an architect and an expert in teamwork by objectives. My purpose is to help designers in training to develop as architects or interior designers based on the experiences that I have already acquired.

As a professional I have experienced the architectural design, documentation, supervision and construction of architecture and interior design projects.

I have been a participant in projects and part of the team of companies at an international and national level, universities and own workshops. In each case, I have done it with the same enthusiasm. That is possible when you are lucky enough to work on what you are passionate about.

Whatever the medium, I try to make my passion for architecture focused on design reach everyone.

Hi, I'm Sarah Tió and I'm a Dominican Architect and Teacher. An enthusiast of how design is part of our day to day.

Expert in teamwork by objectives. My goal is to always have a practical, functional, and reasonable approach to designing services internationally. The method I employ stems from my eight years of experience in architecture and a recent three-year streak (2021) of freelance work. My purpose as a teacher is to assist designers in honing their skills and evolving as professionals in the field of architecture and interior design, drawing from the knowledge and experiences I have accumulated.

Actualmente, soy parte del equipo de DL+A Arquitectos como Directora del Taller de Arquitectura y desarrollando proyectos puntuales de diseño de manera independiente S T / L A B. Además, de crear contenido y dictar clases para educar a las personas sobre los fundamentos del diseño a través de una plataforma de diseño local llamada ST, donde también exponer el desarrollo del talento local en formación.

Sarah Tió, a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, pursued her passion for architecture and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2014. Eager to further expand her knowledge, she pursued a Master's degree in Architectural Design with a specialization in Interior Design and Tourist Accommodation at her alma mater, earning a double degree from the University of A Coruña (UDC), Spain between 2017 and 2019. In recognition of her talent and dedication, Sarah was awarded the prestigious MDI Design and Innovation international scholarship contest at IED Madrid in 2022.

At the age of 24, she is a valued member of DL+A Arquitectos | Site Construction S.R.L. as the Manager of the Architecture Workshop, where he effectively leads a team of 10 architects. In addition to his professional role, she actively serves as an academic instructor at the School of Design and Architecture of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). At PUCMM. She imparts knowledge in various subjects, including Design, Graphic Representation and Communication for Architects, as well as Construction Materials and Techniques for Interior Design.

One of her professional objectives is to design spaces that not only create positive experiences but also bring joy to their users. Constantly seeking new challenges, she believes it is vital for her creative growth as an architect. She embraces fresh ideas, always striving to strike a harmonious balance between nature and human comfort. Additionally, she has an insatiable curiosity for exploring spatial relationships and intermediate spaces. Her passion for the Caribbean region further fuels her enthusiasm for architectural exploration.

In 2021, she starts his Architecture and Interiors Atelier called S T / L A B, where she focuses on the design of spaces that encompass different scales and typologies, satisfying needs through design with the aim of creating unique, effective and functional spaces.
